One headache i've had with my 120d is changing the air filter. firstly I have always serviced my cars so I would class myself as competetent and being in the motortrade does also help. But changing that air filter was an eye opener! BMW charge £166 + vat labour plus parts to do the job. If you have a 118d or 120d , next time you look under your bonnet look for your air filter! Then you will realise what you have to take out to get at the air filter housing bolts.it took me 3hrs to change mine any one done better yet? |
