Believe this is the same on all cars,

Pin 3  +12V (Green/Grey)

Pin 5 & 4 Earth (Brown)

Pin 8 & 1 Lift/Lower. (Violet & Black)

If you have a 'Auto Probe' the 12V output at the switch should give you a continuity signal, show that terminal 12V and the motor should operate, you should continuity on two terminals one for 'up' one for 'down'.

If you haven't got a 'Auto Probe' then a piece of, preferably fused, insulated wire can also be used.

After hooking motor up to 12v it appears to work fine.

Thinking switch now, how can i stimulate a connection at the switch end?

Drivers side hasnt worked for a while, passenger is fine.

How can i check the motor? Simple as hooking up 12v battery to it? I have it out. Also, what voltages should i be getting on the wires?

EDIT: Oh and any way i can check the switch? (i cant swap them over as the other side is earlier/later type, my car has had the electric windows slapped on after it appears)
