many thanks to those who attended the event today, even with reduced numbers and having to wait longer than expected I think it was still a relative success

hope you all enjoyed yourself

congrats to Tiko for a fine win against some very spirited competitors, btw I don't include myself amongst them

I went along to spectate and take some photos.
It was great fun to watch and it looked like everyone was having fun

I'm currently processing 280+ photos - I hope to get to get some posted tonight.

Cracking day out. A big thanks to Steve for organising it. Best £35 I've spent on a Sunday. Wee Gaz is still moaning about his dad punting him off the flyover and stopping the race.

One of lifes little lessons.

Well done Mr C for organisng the event Great day out and Mrs T got to come as well.

Very spirited driving indeed and must admit I was caught up in it all...

Bit of confusion to the ending but it was soon sorted out.

So lads who's up for Knockhill Karting?????? Show some interest and I'll make the enquiries.

Great day and great banter thanks to Stevie's organisation and Kris Boyd. (never seen so many Dundonians in Cambuslang before.....)

I think the confusion at the end was due to the fact that the marshalls have taken the 'heat' positions and not the actual final 'race' positions. (see below) Did anyone see a print-out of the final  'start' and 'finishing' positions?

I recall being passed once in the final by a white helmeted driver but I also passed one who had spun. Anyway it was all good fun but I wonder if Lewis Hamilton takes his burd to the track to moan at the marshalls......

If you are planning on an outdoor event steer clear of Knockhill and visit Raceland instead. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great pictures and do you happen to have any close ups of me? Car 11.

I'm sure Stevie will let me know if you organise anything.

Surprise, Surprise

Well that settles it....I never spun!!

End result was a dampener I must admit and hate that we had to have a marshalls enquiry but rightfully it ended up where it should be.

You feel threatened by a woman airing her voice....mate sit down.

It wasn't me who came down with my very own helmet and super light weight racing pumas....sorry. I don't take it that serious.

Raceland?? Yeah sounds good.Better get some practice in then won't you.

But otherwise great spirit and good going Douglas....

Regards

Tiko

Ha ha, they said you would bite. 'We' didn't have a marshalls enquiry, you did. I couldn't give a toss as I thought I was black flagged after t-boning slow drivers..............

You done very well. I have no excuses.

I will shine my helmet for the next event.............

Oh yeah it's good to have some friendly banter I say....beats the same mundane spiel we normally get

It actually wasn't me who insisted on the enquiry, the lad at the reception with glasses was bewildered as to why I had entered the pits last....then realised there was a problem!!

You too mon ami....great bit of racing I must admit.

Lets get the next date set I say

Tiko
