Busy wee morning for me today! We're scheduled to meet in Troon on the 6th of July. What do the West coasters reckon would make a good meet venue? Need to get a decision within the next 2 weeks so I can get it in the mag...

May i suggest Irvine and lunch at the Gailes Lodge http://www.gaileshotel.com/ just a couple of miles north of Troon. The restaurant is larger, the car park is larger and the menu prices a tad cheaper. There are main dealer facilities nearby and a hoooge car park at Irvine harbour for that all important mag shot. Gailes looks close enough to Troon for me
Would you be able to muck in an help with the venue my good man? Mibbes warn 'em about being descended upon by 20ish BMWs and some hungry punters? |

No problem Dunc, if i remember correctly they have a little extension to the restaurant that should hold up to 30 peeps. I'll enquire about that. |
