Hello,

I'm a relatively new member, not posted before. I have a bimmer I need to sell ASAP, but seem to unable to post in the adverts area. How can I do this? Thanks!

Cheers,
-jerry

Thanks for the welcome, and for the link. Unfortunately, I don't see how I can make 20 (useful) contributions in time - I need to sell my car now, as I'm leaving the country Friday. *sigh*

Cheers,
-jerry

what about entrusting a close friend or relative to sell it for you and forward the funds once sold..?

Good idea, but it's kind of a special situation: the car has just come back from 6 months in Spain; taxes and MOT are expired. I'm just trying to sell it cheaply, as either a track conversion project, or for someone to re-tax and re-MOT to be fully road-legal again (tax only expired in March, and I think it'll pass MOT fine).

It's further complicated, since I'm a Yank, returning to America. No family here, and I'd hate to saddle a mate with the burden - just trying to sell it and move on.

Cheers,
-jerry

Thanks for the sentiment.

Now I see my advert in the 3 series forum was deleted. I realize it wasn't kosher, but still, it's not like it hurt anybody, and maybe someone would get a good deal on a bimmer.

I don't even see a way to contact an admin to ask for an exception.

c'est la vie.
