Hi Guys, Does anyone have any info(good or bad) on that '80 635 with 55K on the clock that is currently for sale on ebay and Pistonheads? The car is supposed to be genuine, really clean with a full documented history. I spoke to the guys at Alexanders and apparently there is no service book but all the receipts clearly show she is fully serviced etc etc. Has anyone been to check out this car? Ideally I am looking for a mint very early 6series. One that is dark in colour(pref. black). I prefer the look of the later highline models to the early look but I will only be able to afford to put an old one on the road. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance frank |

I Know that car has been for sale for a while now and he has dropped the price.I still think its a bit expensive. If you are really keen have a haggle, but bear in mind that when it comes to sell it on some people like a stamped up service history book.Good luck and hope you get your 6 soon great cars. |

Bear in mind that if it's a 1980 model it's a series 1 i.e. it's based on the E12 5-series. That makes parts harder to come by but other than that it's condition, condition, condition.
