So it's better than St Minger then?  Have they gone back to doing stuff like Puppets etc or is it more weird stuff like Re-load/St Minger?

I saw an advert for it at Harthill Service Station on the M8 yesterday.

Will have a look for one.

There seems to be a lot of people giving out about the sound quality of the recording.
According to this sound engineers forum, the engineer was given crap mixings so is distancing himself from the work (his name isn't on the credits).
There is an online petition to get the album remixed already!

Hmm interesting.

The Justice for All album is pretty mince when it comes to mixing.  The drums are all wrong and there is no bass whatsoever.

I didnt mind St Anger but dont seem to get past the fourth track.

Downloaded the new album and its taken some listening to get used to.......a cross between the pre-black stuff and St Anger, more less heavy riffs and solos than say MOP or RTL.

Every CD n vinyl I had is now on my ipod which gets hooked into the car via a radio thingy but still find the same stuff cropping up....Metallica, SOAD, Slipknot,Sepultura, Stone Sour and Pantera.

Listened to it on Saturday night while driving to my nightshift.

Playing on the E60 stero was o.k.  I did think the sounds maxed out a couple of times.

Wasn't as good as their earlier stuff.  Some of it reminded me of the first three albums but not much.

Metallica have been going down hill since 'And Justice for all', which was IMO their best work. Well it's between that one and 'Master of Puppets' anyway. The new stuff is just crap to be honest.

They were better when they were hard drinking, hard living rather than recovering alcoholics in therapy

Speaking of metal, I'm off to see Slipknot supported by Machinehead in december

LOL, when I cleared the 535 before p'exing it I found stashed under the spare wheel a couple of Michael Ball CDs and a few amateur pornographic photos of a young lady who I presume was connected with the previous owner!!!

How can you prove they aren't YOUR CDs?

Photographic evidence of the photos will be required!

Unfortunately this is a family forum so I can't post them, also I had to get shot of them before the missus found em and accused me of taking them.

Whilst I do have a load of dodgy stuff on the ipod Michael Ball isnt on there....but worst is.
