Right from the off and Alonso's false start, that had to be one of the best races this year with a mix of rain, dry and undecided tyre selections.
Good result for JB/ LH and McLaren.

Isn't it strange though..how Alonso overtook Massa on the slip road just before the pitlane entry (cunning move) and the ferarri pitcrew had Alonso's tyres ready whilst Massa had to wait!!

I totally agree Rob, I was glued from start to finish. There was more action in that race than the first 3 put together! It is gradually getting better as the year is going on and with Barcelona to bring some upgrades it's time to up the anti once again.

Lovin the McLaren 1-2. I did yell a bit once they crossed the line woohoo! Who said Button made the wrong move? hehe!

Come on McLaren!!!

Unfortunatley I'm going to miss tomorrow as I have a museum visit at brooklands as well as a driving experience at Mercedes Benz world, shame! oh well, it's a hard life. I hope my car will be more reliable than the Mercedes F1 team cars!!

Gutted for Hamilton, he drove a good race, shame it had to end in such a way. Annoyed at Button, if he'd been a bit like Hamilton with the 'balls out' aggression, he'd have passed sheepwacker and maybe caught the others too.

I managed to go the whole day without knowing the results, got home Sunday evening, started to watch it on sky+ then saw my wifes aol screen and the headlines flashed up on there as I was reading something else!

sheepwacker??

What is it with all this name changing business folk who do not like Schumacher get up to???

All a little bit playground  IMHO, so you don't like the guy does that mean you change his name to some derogatory term, does it make you feel better?

lol, it's a term of endearment, I have nothing but total respect for the guy, especially given everyone wants him to work miracles.

I call Jenson - Button mushroom, Hamilton - Hammy or Hamster, and then there's Philipe messy etc.....  it's a bit of fun me and my kids came up with (they are 5 & 7!) as a laugh, they sometimes get a bit bored watching it so I made it a bit more fun for them. Just a bit of fun but I seem to have stayed in the habit of calling them those names. Sorry, didn't mean to offend! Just because I grow older, doesn't mean I have to grow up!

Sorry bud, like most on 'other' forum I thought it was actually meant as it reads, but I guess it is just 'playground stuff' in your case.

Guilty as charged your honour! I work in a garage so you can imagine the amount of men who just enjoy a laugh and a joke. I guess when you mix this with having young kids it tends to spill over into situations where perhaps a bit more decorum is expected lol. It's just the way I am. I have massive respect for Shumacher and he's up there with Prost and Senna. We got some official Mercedes F1 team caps into stock today and I was even tempted to buy a Schumacher one but the english side of me made sure I ordered a Jenson Button T-shirt instead! though that caps are really nice.

No hard feelings.
