unfortunately yes, as they also did with the famous Brabham Fan-Car - teamed owned at the time by a certain Mr B Ecclestone - lol

Teams are always asking for 'clarification' within the rules, it's the difference between bending and breaking.

What a race to start the season!  Well done to Brawn and Button and also to a very lucky Barechello who perhaps just escaped losing out big time! I thought Hamilton did well to fight back to 3rd as well. It was a shame about Vettel, I thought better to settle for 3rd than not to finish, stubborn german!

Also nice to see a brit 1st and 4th.

I said to a friend of mine a few years back when Brawn was at the forefront of Shumachers success, if he had the right financial backing, he could have a really sucessful team. Well, hey presto! and if Branson has anything to do with it, you know it's going to be sucessful from a business point of view. It's nice to see the big boys not getting their way for once. I'm more than happy to have Button win it, after all, I'd rather have 2 brits competing for 1st that relying on just 1.

Bring on Malaysia!

Mike

I'd rather have 4th than lie for 3rd. It's still an achievement getting from 18th to 4th so he had no shame in that. Oh well, you live by the sword........

It's really made me feel like swearing. Go on mods, just two little words, please?

of course, don't forget Barichello helped by destroying 3 (or was it 4?) cars at the first corner, and the fiats shot themselves in the feet again.

Can someone fill me in here (having blonde moment!)?

Trulli was in 3rd & Ham in 4th.
Trulli went off
Ham took 3rd place legally (as Trulli slowed with "an obvious problem" as per the regs)
Ham slowed down or whatever and thus allowed Trulli to retake 3rd
Ham gets into trouble

Why did Lewis slow down given that he legally had the position?
