I watched it on BBC iplayer. Skipped past the blender scene though. Really not interested in V8 powered kitchen appliances...

Rest of the show was OK though.

Watching it again and I am in hysterics!

Can't believe the V8 powered chainsaw.  Scary or what.

The bit I found interesting in the last  was when they were trying to make the renault Aventime go faster, the brake mods and expensive tyres didn't do much but a service increased power by 25%.

simple things do work

Yeah that is a good point.  We never really found out what they did to the engine.  It was only reading about 150 bhp and not 210.  Quite a difference, it must have needed a dire service.  Ah wait didn't they say they changed the fuel injectors.  That would have helped.  I suppose that's the theory for running on good quality fuel, keeps the injectors and such like clean.

I actually saw one of those Renault thingies yesterday while walking from my office.  Isn't that one of only 400 or so made?

Wonder if they will have a V8 powered something in tomorrow nights show?

Wasn't a bad episode - impressive lap from the Veyron and Zonda.
I'm currently watching Hammond with Evel Kenivel on BBC3 - very odd looking at a frail old man!

Not as much fun as last weeks one but was interesting with the result between the Veyron and Zonda.

The odd camera close up of his face shows that the crash he suffered has made him look older.  You can really notice it after watching the old episodes on Dave tehn watch a current one on BBC 2.  Mind you going thru that would age anyone.
