M50/M52 engine swap

   The HG has gone in my 323i. I've decided to swap the engine out with an older M50 block.

From reading around it looks like I can use my manifold, loom and ECU from the 323i and it is otherwise a straight swap.

Has anyone done this before?

What issues arose?

How long did it take?

Would the extra 30KGs of weight have a signficant effect on the handling/performance?

Also, I'll be using a my 323i manifold initially but will look into getting the M50 manifold modified at some later stage.
