Eight contructions workers required treatment after an incident at the BMW Manufacturing plant in Greer.

Our coverage partners at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal first reported the incident, which happened around 8 p.m. Friday night. BMW spokesman Bobby Hitt tells News Channel 7 that the incident occured inside a ventilated area after some painters were applying epoxy to the floor of a future paint shop that is being built. Hitt said that first responders were immediately called and the workers were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
