Hi,
my '73 Tii has develoved a slight leak. It seems to be coming down through the bonnet vents near the heater box, behind the centre console and to the drivers side footwell. Car is RHD. Only happens when it rains and the car is parked. Any ideas? Is there a small drain pipe in there somewhere that may have come loose? Or perhaps the seal around the heater has deteriorated and letting water through? Thanks in advance, Tony |

there should be 2 rubber bungs one at each side these are the drain holes make sure there not blocked also while your in there make sure theres no rot if they have been blocked..

One at each side of where exactly? There look like there could be space for 2-3 plugs of some sort but there is nothing rubber there

best idea is ill get a pic of the area im talking about but its in the space in front of the windscreen where the window winder mechanisim is. ill get a pic tomorrow or friday of what im talking about.

Hi Tony got these tonight. crackin wee car you have. Ive not had chance to get the pics from under the bonnet of my mates tii yet as we have been both flat out at work. ill be over there on sunday as im taking a 525e over to his so will get them then.
