It is now time to start sorting out my GT. It was starting to look a little scruffy, with dings and small rust spots appearing and a not so small amount of rust on the roof where it meets the windscreen.

Gary came to visit last weekend and between him and the wife they talked me in to spending my hard earned cash on the car.  Well if Gary can't spend his own money!!

So last week Gary drove my car back home for Stevie to begin work on it.

Photobucket" border="0" />Photobucket" border="0" />  Nasty rust

Photobucket" border="0" />

Photobucket" border="0" />

Photobucket" border="0" /> Just a small hobby of mine!!

The windscreen was changed in 2006 it was obviously damaged then.  The tin worm has had plenty opportunity to get hold since then.

You pleased with the wheel results? I'd still like to get mine done but haven't decided who to trust with the work...

I am pleased with the results and the cost, £207 for the four.

Considering the condition of the wheels prior to the refurb they have come up well.

Only as far as I need to (and can afford), take out all the rust, dings and dents.

I will also replace any bit of the trim that are not up to scratch, oh aye and the wheels.

That will do for the time being, once I've recovered from the shock of this I will start to replace any of the interior that needs doing.

The problem with the interior will be sourcing the parts at a reasonable cost.

Looks well Mark, wheels come up very well indeed.

Will keep a lookout on this post, especially since your
brother hasn't been along to rip the hole out of you
yet! Yet!

I don't need to rip the hole out of him. I think his car will do that for me

The car is going down to the shop tomorrow so they can see what needs done with regards to the rust issue.

I thought I was done with all this nonsense since mine was finished
