flappy rattle

   when i turn the ignition on i hear a flap opening in the heater somewhere, and now when driving slowly over any sort of bumpy road it is sort of rattling as if its coming behind glovebox somewhere    just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of anything like this on an e46 before, as its drivin me nuts
