Very shiney, very impressive, but.....

how old was the car? how many miles had it done?

I'd be very impressed with a similar result on a 10 yr old 120,000 miler

any examples?

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

Older Bms are easy

Paint on newer models is tough

Pay your money Pits and get it done

Nah Pete, if it's so easy on an Old Beemer - they should pay me

Mileage or age doesn't matter, it's the before & after that counts, which you can see in the pics.

A new car can have a very poor paint finish, which we see a lot of, in the detailing forums

I'll second that!!

Menz IP on a Menz Compounding pad hasn't shifted completely (but has significantly reduced) some of the marks on my E60s clear coat.  Marks are not deep enough to catch finger nail.

A lot of dealer prepared cars are shocking to say the least, so much so that a lot of customers now ask the dealer not to prepare the car for them, as they usually make a mess of the paint work, plus all the industrial fallout & other stuff that is stuck to brand new cars would really surprise you, have a look at some of the brand new cars which get detailed on www.detailingworld.com, it's a real eye opener

I specifically ask BMW not to wash my car when it is in for work.

They washed it the first time even though I asked them specifically not too, so I wrote on the job sheet that you sign to say to start work.  So that time they didn't wash it but instead badly vacuumed it instead! I was annoyed as I was waiting for it and wanted to be/had to be somewhere else.
