My other half has fallen in love with a 1 series to replace the E36.

How happy are you with your 1 series?
I am looking for a 118d or 120d but please post from other models as well.

I haven't even got round to check the engine specs etc.

Don't they say, wife + decent motor = death trap?

If economy is the main thing buy a second hand blue motion oil burning Polo.

Be exclusive and drive a Petrol 5 Series!

when I said economy I was referring to her 318iS. It needs to be as good as that.
And if you are brave (or suicidal) YOU try and get her behind the wheel of a Polo.....
