Folks,

Wonder if you can help me ... whats the differences between a 1995 E36 328is and a 1996 E36 328is ??

Reason I am asking is that all the time while looking for parts etc, there seems to be a problem with pre-96 E36 ....

Is it something to do with the computer or ECU not being able to be changed through the port or something ???

I dont know hence reason am asking?

Ta in advance.

Well one is a year newer than the other, or one is a year older than the other, depending if the glass is half full or half empty......

OBDI v's OBDII one has a dedicated chip, that would need a new replacement chip, the other has a re-programmable chip, that can be tweaked by a technician.
