Been told that shaving with a straight exfoliates the skin plus all the other stuff used helps keep a youthful look.

Here's a few of mine anyway

Kropp 7 day set (belonged to a WWII British Intelligence Officer)

George Butler 'Loves Labour Lost' set with genuine Ivory scales and paddle strop

Odd one this, Solingen travel razor (unknown maker)

St. & Co. which I'm cleaning up at the mo..

My usual shaving razor, a Thiers Issard SRP Limited Edition (scarily sharp)

Mainly out of interest does anyone else on here use 'straight' razors? (also known as cut-throats or open razors)

I started using one last October (had it for several years as a curio) and am hooked now, even started to collect them. It's turned into a bit of a hobby and is a lot kinder on the pocket than my photography hobby has been in the past...

It's not something you see being used nowadays but they are making a bit of a come-back.
