All

Project nearing the end, however the car still needs to be flattened and polished so I think it will look very nice when it is finished. The wheels are currently away to get polished and won,t be back until end of next week. Thanks Neil for posting the pictures. See you all soon in my nice and shinney Z3.

It is starting to look very smart and at this rate I should be able to make the next meet at the 7th march.

Reason I did a full respray was: stonechips on the bonnet, few little bubbles on the back wheel arches, small damage around booth lock and shopping trolley dent in driver door. To paint the panels and to get the paint to match on a 12 year old car is very difficult and time consuming. As for the wheels Gary they are getting done by Mary in Coatbridge, she did the shadow black wheels for my E30. Need to go now Z3 is calling. I will give a update later in the week.

Looking good.

OT, but what happened to M8LUR ? The car rather than the person, I found him on some Lotus site I think.

IIRC, it was sold to someone in Manchester. Last time I saw reference to it, it was up for sale, but taking ages to sell?

Looks good mate, look forward to seeing it in the flesh
with the Wheels back on.

M8LUR is still floating about. He stays near me and cuts
about in an Estoril X5. iirc he was track prepping a Lotus,
haven't heard of him for AGES.

A neighbour of mine bought his Z3 but then it disappeared
(not literally) IMO, he ruined that car, sorry John if
you're reading this.
