E 38 GPS Navigation

   I have a 750 iL '97, E38. The car has every available accessory, except GPS navigation. I thought this was a little weird. As it mentions it in the handbook. I am only interested in the OE GPS. Not an add on fitment.
I looked for a disk drive, No avail. The vehicle is fitted with trafficmaster, but this is usless, and un-registered.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible the GPS is fitted, but un-registered, If so where is it.
2. Can i have it fitted and at what cost.
3. Is it just a case of fitting the player and sensor.
4. If all the above fail, how do i register the useless trafficmaster.
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated many thanx all.

	first, you are right trafficmaster is rubbish!but you can reregister this by purchasing a key from bmw dealerships. so you have a tv monitor in the car ok, when you open the boot on the left side when you open the side trim is there a cut out space for the navigation drive? possibly someone removed it from the car before you brought it? if thats the case its easy.if its not had one fitted before you may be lucky and the wiring might be there. if not is a bit of a job. if you give me the chassis no can check the spec of the car if you want see if it left the factory with one.
