Must be that time of year!

I went shopping at the weekend and I bought  this.......

It a 2009 120d SE coupe in jet black with black leather.  I must admit its lovely to drive and its quite high spec too. I dont like the wheels but they will get changed and these will be used for winter tyres! Pick it up on Thursday

No way! lol I am keeping the M3. This will be used as a daily drive as I want to save the M from the trauma of being taken to work every day. I worked it out that I do 11,000 miles a year just going to work! Then there is the mountainous speed bumps in the car park and the tight parking spaces!  So having just had a large bill for suspension work I decided it was time to get another car to save my pride n joy and I hope this will be perfect!

A big congrats Issy, it looks luvly. I wish you the best
with it.

If I'd known you were in the market I would've paid you to
take Alfie off my hands.

And your point caller is?

That was never a real consideration. Always knew I would get a good car as I spend half my life in it!

Hrmmm yes they look nice but I have my eye on something else. What size should I go for? do you think 18s would be too big?

That's a good buy at screen price. Do you mind me asking the mileage?

I may be joining you in a white one come summer if numbers work out on a friends one who is waiting for BMW AG building an X3.

Enjoy

PS 18's will be fine but harsh on RFTs.

Issy we use the same model as pool cars in work.. ours are
all white and have "BEEFEATER" written across the side!
nice N comfy & quite well equipped but don't expect to get
any where to quickly... there slower than the stupid
Toyota Prius hybrid that we have as well.

that said, it will save you a few quid between fill up's

Picked up the car yesterday and so far I am pleased with it so far. Feels quite nippy and drives really well. I got 60mpg coming home from work today so will be well happy with that if it continues. It has loads of neat we tricks up its sleeve like the start stop thingy which I think I will get used to and it even tells me if Im in the wrong gear to help with the fuel consumption! How cool is that! lol  My phone paired up no problem to the bluetooth and works really well.

It does feel a bit strange after driving the M but it doesnt feel like a small car and is very quiet for a diesel!

But tomorrow is satarday so its the M's turn to get out n about until Monday

What would you rather have - a pair of DMs or a pair of BMs?
