318i can only do 70MPH in this country same as an M3 or a Lamborghini(just doesn't get there as quickly) so with that in mind, its all about the show.

I always thought that Alpina was more to do with understated elegance with "rip your face off" performance rather than the "look at me, I'm faster than you" M styling. That said, I'll still be going for the e39 M5, undoubtedly the most stylish M car ever made.

Yeah spotted him, he stays near straiton area. He pulled into the garage at Sainsbury's when I had the 325. pointless use of a badge.
