 I am arranging a Christmas night out on Sat 3rd Dec. Here is the plan..... Sat 3rd - Party night at the Two Bridges South Queensferry, stay over in chosen hotel for those who want to stay over I have reserved a table and places are limited.The cost is £18.95 per person and a deposit will require to be paid by the end of the month and I am happy to arrange this. If you are interested send me you email address stating if you are bringing a +1 and I will send on the details of the party night and chosen hotel booking details. We need to move quick on this to secure the table and the hotel. Sun 4th - Monthly meet so the plan will be to arrange something to tie in with the overnight stay. I dont know who has all got booked but it now looks like all the cheap rooms are gone.
 So if you are staying over I would get it booked asap.

Travelodge at Dunfermline has £29 rooms available.
It's 6 miles north of South Queensferry over the Forth Road Bridge and is no more than 10 mins drive up the M90.
It's also about halfway along our route home and we'll be taking a taxi so if anyone books it and wants to share we'd be up for splitting the cost to the travelodge then we'll pay for the rest of the journey to our house ourselves.

Just to add we'll prob be taking a car and leaving it there so there'll be room to give 2 or 3 a lift down from Dunfermline as well if anybody books it.

Just tried to book hotel both Newbridge and south queensferry only have £60 rooms left which one would you recomend. Will book the one where most of you are staying.

There were £29 rooms but they are all gone now. You are not the only one who has had to pay the higher price. Still good value for 2 but a bit harsh for those who are staying on their own! Sorry but you have to be quick with these things.  Good on you for making the effort to come up....do you know what you are letting yourself in for? hopefully it will be a great night!Edited by Issy - 16-October-2011 at 22:59 |
