Having a look around on Pistonheads Classifieds at lunchtime and I'm noticing that the same adverts for the same cars keep appearing, the car has never been sold.

I'm looking at some Ford ones and I remember reading the same adds a while ago, some must have been the summer looking at the leaves on the trees.

I don't think the cars are necissarily overpriced or that the car looks a real shed.  Some of the adds are really bad with poor spelling etc and even text speak, gives you little confidence.

Is there just no one buying cars at the moment?

Or is Pistonheads not the place to be selling cars?

Andrew

I look at pistonheads frequently, and I agree with your sentiments towards the adverts.

I've bought all of our families cars from autotrader adverts.
Best Wishes

Interesting, I thought ebay was the place to buy and sell cars rather than Autotrader but if the car in question was a wee bit different or special thne Pistonheads was the place to sell?

10 to 15 years ago, if your car was at the right price and advertised in Autotrader you virtually gauranteed a sale and I'm talking pre-internet adverts here.
