Those of you who attended Magnificent Machines 2 years ago will remember my friend Gabriella and her stunning white E46 325 MSport Cabriolet. (Lilley)
I got a phonecall today to go and have a wee look at the car. Some f@&ker hit and run Lilley last night. Now.........Gabriella lives not far from a pub.............Hmmmm 2+2= some drunken git leaving the pub and driving home, I hope if that is the case then they ended up in a ditch hurting only themself. The bumper was 90% off and the wing is damaged along with the inner wing liner. All I can say is "Wot a to$$er" !! Edited by Cambell - 05-June-2012 at 15:42 |

Crying shame!!! Stunning motor.
Just need to keep an eagle eye out in the area for a car with white paint on its bumper that shouldn't have.

I'm now wondering how wise is it was to have posted up pictures of the damage on here. The reason I say that is that I got a phone call at 7:07 this morning from a very distressed lady asking "Did you take the bumper off the car last night?" The rope holding it on was cut so it didn't just fall off.
I'm not saying that its anyone on here, far from it but these forums get looked at all of the time by god knows who. People, if you are trawling the net and you see this bumper or parts thereof advertised for sale on Ebay or Gumtree or the like , please let me know and contact the police as it is stolen. The marks shown in the pictures above are clear. If the thief is reading this, you are nothing but scum, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your @rsehole. God help you if I get my hands on you ! |

I had to read this again!!! The bumper has been nicked? FFS I knew that happened all the time down in London but it's the first time that I have heard of it happening up here! That's awful! I suppose it would be an easy target. I have read about bumpers actually being ripped of cars and sold on eBay. I would like to think that it was just an opertunist and not someone from here! so sorry to hear that!

Well, got Lilley back from my friends bodyshop today. New bumper, number plate holder and grille along with some inner arch parts. New fog lights and surrounds too, love the smoked lenses
As you'll have seen from the above pics, the OS wing was damaged so I got Jimmy to repair that and paint the NS wing as a previous repair left a poo match of paint. There was also a wee rust patch on the rear OS wheel arch (its an E46, they rust) so got him to repair that too. He also (off his own back) touched up all of the chips on the bonnet and wherever required. Edited by Cambell - 18-June-2012 at 18:38 |
