Went out this morning to find what must be a new record for bird number 2s splatered all over my m3. Hood and all panels got it tight. They must be eating well just now. Anyway rant over. What's the best way to clean off the canvas and paintwork. Is old fashioned hot water and car shampoo the best or is there a product to buy to treat quickly without having to wash ur motor.Cheers. Jim.

Cheers. Is it just a spray on. Leave on a minute then wipe or does it still need rinsed to fully remove. It's somethin I can keep in boot even when at work I can apply when needed for quickness?
U should have seen the car. Was like a respray. Was a bmw individual spec wi it's funky new paint job.

Its just spray on stuff you can get from Haflords. If it was that bad mate, I'd have headed straight to the jet wash anyway.

I use Autoglym Engine degreaser/machine cleaner to remove bird plops from paintwork.
Wet surface, spray on Autoglym and leave for a moment then either rinse off or wash off.

I pre-treat with an apc diluted down (currently using Autosmart G101 at 10:1 and it works amazingly well and is non-acidic so doesn't damage the paintwork.

It's a nightmare eh! Although that's what you get for living at a block of flats, they always swarm round there.

APC and G101 may clean it off well, but just remember it'll strip you wax off too. Approve

It will do the job nicely! Thumbs Up

I too am having an issue with bird poop all over the cars but i just try to use the quick detailer Last touch (which i keep in the boot with a cloth) as soon as I see it but it was so bad yesterday i just gave the car a good wash with snow foam and that sorted it out! Angry
