Speaking to Dom @ Edition38, I had mentioned i had not used tyromania (one of a few products i have not tried from the Dodo Juice range), the reason being I was soo used to using Swissvax Pneu and Gtechniq T1.  I was more intrigued as to how it would work being a wax and not a water or silicon based liquid dressing.  I also wanted to see how it could work round the car as it has been known to work wonders on trim as well (with Dom showing me a pic of his own car, and ther difference after a certain period of time).

So I started with the exterior trim (which my car as a lot of)...

I applied the product as i would wax, circular and over lapping and left for roughly 8-10 mins,  I then buffed with a damp microfiber cloth achieving great results:

At this stage what i did notice about the product which i thought was great, it had a filling quality to it, certain scrapes and defects were being filled and looked much better.

So then only the tyres (the purpose the product was intended):

This was applied in straight lines, I started to feel like i was using quite a lot of product for the tyres as they were absorbing it very quickly..

a 50/50:

At the stage of the 50/50 shot it didnt look like it was going to work well, but again i left for 8-10 mins then buffed with a damp microfiber and again achieved a lovely matt finish to the tyres (my preference), even though the instructions say use water to achieve a shiney finish (this was not achieved):

So after that i started to think what else can be i moved onto the window rubbers, this is where in the past i have used Swissvax Seal Feed which has been good for me....

Sorry but i didnt take any before, but i can say they were starting to look perished, discoloured etc.....applied in straight lines and removed with damp microfiber, which achieved a lovely satin finish:

then i decided to be more adventurous, as it has finish properties i decided to tackle interior trim, areas which had scuffs etc, one in particular, rear door which had a mark on it since day one of my ownership, I have tried Swissvax Quick Interior Finish, steam cleaning and more....

Applied tyromania, left for a few mins then removed with damp microfiber and it had gone (for now, will see if comes back):

and after:

So tried on a few more areas of trim inside:

Also the aerial...

and after i had tried it all over the car I had used this much of the 30ml sample:

Overall an easy product to use, I would say initially i had a little doubt over how well it would work as it feels slightly wrong applying it...hard to explain, and the removal, you need a damp cloth otherwise there is far too much drag...its a bit light polishing your leather shoes with the Bic shoe polish.  On the trim it was easy to apply and a little resistance to remove residue.  On the tyres, harder to apply compared to the trim, but much easier to buff up.  On the window rubbers I found it easy to use.

As for durability, that I cannot comment on BUT the best i got out of Swissvax Pneu was about 3-4 weeks (summer), 2-3 weeks with Gtechniq T1 and also in the past used Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel (which is recommended for tyres) and that last 1-2 weeks.

In comparison to other products....on the trim I have used Gtechniq C4 which is meant to be permanent but had to top up 3 times in 1 year, bu it did do a very good job of restoring the colour, Swissvax Nano Express, very easy to apply but lasts a few weeks and expensive, Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel which is fairly cheap, but not the best product to apply, leaves a wet finish and attracts dust.  Tyromania was not as easy to apply or as quick as Gtechniq or Swissvax, is easier than Chemical guys product.  In regards to the tyres, compared to Swissvax Pneu which is very expensive but very easy to apply and leaves a lovely finish and Gtechniq T1 which is a gel based product...both Tyromania and T1 in my opinion are the same to apply....when i remove T1, its like im removing a cheap silicon based dressing, the cloth becomes very black but it lasts quite well, probably one of the best lasting tyre dressings on the market.  Tyromania when i removed was not dirty like T1, more like Pneu and better, the finish is very much like an original tyres, not glossy or wet, which is my preference anyway.

But i will update with how well it last, and coming into autumn it really will be under some harsher elements soon :)
