Hi John,
Hope your well wee man. Be worth it when done as it's a keeper mate. I'm hoping to be back in a BM later in the year once so hope to see finished article. Running a 13 year old VW the now a bit skint developing business etc. Stevie - if you still venture onto scottishvag site big stew of lothian car care in whitburn done some paintwork on my missus car and he is top class. His own S8 he sprayed in a show winner and i'm yet to hear a bad word about him. Decent prices too.

Was thinking car be ready but wee 2 weeks behind ? Garage very busy
Alan has just got back to me to say the back end was not bad as they told me its a bad bit for rust!! So happy about that as thinking some body work may need to be cut out. Doors off to just to make it better        |

We have found that the O/s/f door has been replaced at some time, its been painted without any primer. We have had to paint strip it. ( ref photos no primer only the black e-coat )     This is never ending lol |

Your going to have a rather hefty bill in the end but,to have a mint M3 evo saloon is pretty much a rareity so all be worth it in the end. I believe if your going to do a job then do it right first time and that saves any revisiting and its always better in the long run.
Looking forward to seeing the car on June 1st John. |

Yes Linda will have me out the house if this keeps going  but i did get a cost before all this work started In the end the job will be a good one as its BMW doing the work. |

No not ones have i been to see the car, Alan at BMW has been giving me all the up dates and pics Only ones went to BMW to give Alan the new Steering Wheel and left never had time to look at the body shop? Its hard when your getting all that work done, i had to just sit back and trust them to get on with the work.. To the rest thanks for all the nice words on how its looking just need to wait and see this in the flesh. And then i am going to have to give the car a detail, clean up seal the paint work all the wheels need to come off and be cleaned waxed Then oil service brakes need to be looked at MOT, Tax and all this for Sunday
