This year we have chosen a new venue for the annual
Show 'n' Shine event. This year we will be holding it at Drumlanrig Castle which I have booked for the 1st
June. Anyone who attended the Abingdon run last year will remember visiting this
stunning venue.

Once again this year we have no sponsor however I am in the process of trying
to sort something out for trophies and prizes.

Following last year’s format there will be 2 classes in the show -

Masterclass (concours) (if there are any entries)

Pride of ownership (Show n Shine)

Everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy a fun day in a stunning setting.
There is plenty to do and this is a family event. Hopefully we will have some
concours cars turn out for the event as well as the usual fantastic turn out
for the Pride of Ownership! You do not need to show your car, if you do not want
to, just come along to spectate that is acceptable please remember its just a
bit of fun so please enter your cars.

Masterclass & Pride of Ownership is restricted to BMW and BMW
     Minis cars only
I have agreed a group entry fee of £4 per adult & £3 per child.
     This gives you entry into the grounds & gardens. This is payable on
     the day at the gate.
I have arranged the area in front of the castle for the event
     however any cars not entering into the
     event will be asked to park in the normal car parking area
Access to the house incurs and additional charge of £10 per adult
     and £6 per child
There is a picnic area and food will be available in the cafe. If there
     is a demand for using the cafe the will give us access to our own room. I
     therefore require a guide to who will be using the cafe so I can give them
     a idea of numbers
Gates open at 10am for entry
     into the venue.. Judging will take place from around 11.30. (dependant on
     the number of cars)
Normal BMWcc rules will
     apply and once the judging has commenced no other entrants will be
     accepted.
There is an external tap
     available for water but please bring your own buckets. 

As is custom it is important that you add your name to the following
list so I can advise the venue of expected numbers. This includes any
passengers.

If you intend to show your car it will be entry on the day although to save
time I can email the application form to you for completion if you send me you
email address.
