HELP! - The bonnet on my e38 wont open.

   When I pull the lever inside the car only one side of the bonnet 'pops' open and when i pull the small lever in the grill only the right hand side opens up.  The left side is totally shut.
Its snowing like crazy and i just ran out of screenwash and i need to put some in asap!!
Any help would be great.

	Sounds like one of the catches isn't releasing. Try getting an assistant to put weight on the corners of the bonnet over the catches with the palms of the hands,while you pull the lever.Sometimes this releases the pressure on the catch enough for it to pop open. Don't dent the bonnet,though.......

	Thanks, Tried that, but the catch was openning ok. But havin the helper was a good idea. As I pulled the lever inside the car my helper lifted the bonnet slightly and it worked. Turned out to be the spring that pushes the bonnet up was stiff at one side. Will put some WD40 or the likes on it to free it up a bit.
