Came out of my gfs house (she lives off the South Circular Road in Dublin) this morning to find the driver side window of my Compact neatly distributed all over the inside of the car  
Nothing was taken and there was no other damage done to the car apart from a slightly damp drivers seat due to the rain last night. They didn't even open the glovebox so I reckon someone disturbed the inbred little sh*te while he was in the process of trying to nick it.

Anyone here ever had to replace the door glass of their car and if so how much did it cost? Autoglass are quoting nearly €200, just wondering if this is a reasonable price?

That's a PITA. The cost seems reasonable given to labour - but check if you have all glass breakage coverage on your insurance.

Afraid I don't, my policy is just basic TPFT with Quinndirect, you need a comprehensive policy for glass coverage. I don't mind paying to have the window fixed, I'm just relieved no other damage was done.

Was woken @ 04:00 Thursday by the motion detector CCTV system I've been forced to install to see two scumbags peering into the window of the car........... why can't honest law abiding club members own high powered rifles? We'd stop the problem pretty quickly imhoBig Smile
