how to change plastic clips on window reg

   hello everyone
a comon prblm = rubber sealents worn out on 325 e36 4 door 92 model, and now some plastics clips within the doors (front drivers and passengers) I thought id attempt to repair myslf, but unfortunately when i open the side panel i cant get to the inside of the door to fiddle with the rims that window runs up, This is the same problem i had when trying to fit the rubber seals and gave up, after i coudnt get into the front bottom part to attach the rubber guides onto. It seems as if the whole door is two metal pieces weilded together.
please anybody ...Heelp !!
