Hi every one

My E30 appears to have all the symptons that indicate the blue temperature sensor has failed.

I've had a look but it looks a b***h to get at.

Is there an easy way to get in there and replace it?

Cheers

Cheers Paul

If I don't catch it just right it floods and won't fire.

If it does start then it sounds over choked, ie if it was a manual choke I'd push it in.

Yeah this is a common problem it seems with the 320's.

There is a fix for it, something about the fuel pump ad a delay being needed after the car fails to start before it starts pumping again.

Somebody on www.e30zone.co.uk forum will remember it i've forgotten.

If you need to get it running then disconnect the fuel pump relay and crank it for a while, it should fire then replace the relay.

Thanks I'll check it out.

It's not a major issue to me but the wife tends to draw the line at pulling fuses etc to make the car start
