A few of us are meeting up this coming Sunday.

We are meeting up in time to leave Wantage at 11:30 am (just west of Didcot).  Head for the town centre where Alfred will greet you, he looks
really Great.   Parking is right in the centre of the market square.  Just
opposite is the Bear Hotel who have confirmed they serve coffee in their
first floor lounge.  Departure from Wantage will be 11.30 am PROMPT.....
stragglers will be left behind as we have to be at the pub in Aldworth the
minute the doors open (gets very busy and we need to park together if possible in their car park out the back).

Long distance travellers:  Please arrive at the Bell Inn, Aldworth (Berks)
no later than 12 noon, preferably a few mins before.  There is a car park to the rear of the pub, entrance is to the left of the front door.  The pub is very popular so in order to get a seat and secure parking, you really cannot be late.....

After lunch we plan on an hour and half's drive around the downs back around to Wantage.

Hope to see a few of you there.
Rob & Lyn

Yes, Dedham would be a great place to have a meet, I'm in Colchester and was only there a couple of days ago, gets very busy though on a Sunday afternoon, esp if the weather is good.

Ozzy,

Yes it does, but I'm sure someone with better local knowledge will know of a nice pub nearby.
