Hello all. I've recently taken ownership of a brilliant red 2 door 318 i on H plate. The has is in excellent conditon and has been treated to the following mods: Electric M3 Mirrors, Heated M Tech Seats, Single wiper conversion, Full M Tech Kit, TSW 16 inch Alloys, Lowered suspension, full peco exhaust with twin tail pipes, 57i K&N, Titanium Gear Knob, MTech wheel, smoked side and rear windows and has had a full respray. I paid just £1000 for it with 10 months MOT. I owned a mint 520 i SE before this, but much prefer the E30 as it's quicker and much nicer to drive, plus i get more stares in it!!! Looking forward to getting some more modifying ideas from fellow e30 nuts!!
Cheers Paul.

Hello Simon, thanks for the info, my car is the same colour as yours, which is a beauty by the way! I'm not a member of the BMWCC yet, as I've only had the car a few days but as soon as pay day comes I'll be signing up on line. I've always believed being a member of such car clubs as they provide good benefits. I'll be sure to check the link out you gave me thanks. I'm from Liverpool originally but I live in Southport now. So would be interested in joining and attending the North West meets. I'm 33 so I'm no boy racer ( well that's what I tell myself, but the reality is different!!) Paul.

No probs mate, check out the relevant section for meets, also keep an eye on the e30zone meets section for meets up your way. Cheers for the comment on the car! You will have to get some pics of your car up. Cheers Simon |

Hi Paul
Welcome, I hope when you join the Car Club you will join the E30 register as well. You have just missed the 21st Birthday of the E30 at Rockingham but there will be more at Gaydon. This is our National Festival and the E30s will be taking centre stage. A 3218iS for £1k is very good but better still with the extras you have. My cars is the same as Simons and I am a 62 year old boy racer!!!!!! |

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'll take some pics over the weekend, weather permitting and post them up. I have some more plans for it, nothing major just some minor cosmetics, like chrome rings for the dials and and M badge for the front grill. plus lots of security!! Good news for me, but not for the missus, there is a BMW accessory shop not too far from where i live, I think I'll be paying a number of visits over the coming months. Thanks again. Paul. A question for the moderators-can you please tell me and the E30 register members WHY this post was moved from the E30 register forum.
