E46 sport seats creak?

   Hi,
My E46 328ci has leather sports seats, with electric adjustment, but they have a tendancy to creak and rattle under load through corners etc.., almost as if the mechanism is loose. An Engineer checked the bolts etc.. and all is fine.
Could there be play in the electric adjustment rails?
Anyone?
