FWIW, I'd get the K&N heatshielded. Check out the AA CAI from CA Automotive or do a search on any of the US based sites for CAI (cold air intake). http://www.dtmpower.net has got some good write-ups.

	Hi guys, I'm new to the site and new to BM's. Can anyone give me any advice on owning my new 328i Coupe? I'm looking to put a K&N induction kit in it. Does anyone know if I will need a heat shield for it or will it run OK?
