Tiff makes me larf hes such a goofy presenter that it makes it all the more fun to see him doing something new (regardless of whether TG did it first).

Regarding the above video i nearly cried when i watched it as it seemed like the buggers had my car there and trashed it (same colour) oh well one less glacier blue on the road.

However after watching the vid i went to get a couple of replacement bulbs for my interior lights (changed back to white) and saw a 525i glacier blue which surprised me as its the first i have seen on the road other than mine since i have owned the car.

I have the pleasure to work with said presenters from time to time (I am a Dubbing Mixer at Pebble Mill) and they are all good value for money.

However JC has become such a self opiniated egotist,

Top Gear gets turned off nearly as quickly as Coronation Street nowadays. (It's not just sour grapes as I only work on 5th Gear now).

I was thinking more along the lines of the Python "deja vu" sketch....

yeah, ********... imagine the stupidity, its all been done before (most likely on Top Gear!)

I can imagine the scriptwriters now, feverishly working on how they are going to rebuke the newest episode of TG (although it has to be said that that's getting silly too... a bit like that Monty Python sketch "I'm warning this programme not to get silly again") ...

"Double decker buses jumping motorbikes?  Nuns driving monster trucks over cars?   nah nah nah, lets get a nice white 5-series towing a caravan and see how many it can leap "

That programme is going downhill fast... not only do they have a limp-wristed failed racing driver and a bint who used to write for Max Power, they've started wrecking decent cars (well, not the Volvo, obviously)

There's too many Renaults, Citreons, Peugeots and Alfas out there to choose from without having to wreck nice cars!!

Hmm, that's the second E34 that "Fifth Gear" have written-off on TV in a month...

Wonder what they've got against E34s....

-Is the clip off fifth gear? If so, yup, it is scarey alright....

-incidentally, if you are on a stone-age dial-up (like me) this clip will take about a year to download.... anyone fancy posting a few stills to ease the WWwait syndrome for all us non-broadband folk??

cheers

http://auto.joins.com/upboard/pds/pdst/2004060135562_BMW%205%20Series%20vs%20Volvo%20960.wmv (right-click, Save As... if you don't want to wait for it to stream)

BMW 5-Series and Volvo 960 head to head at 60 mph, sobering stuff, the BMW seems to survive a bit better (yaay!) but all occupants would be
