overheating

      Hi. I live down here the Philippines. Can u advice me pls,
with a cone filter, it seems temparature gauge  on my  320i  show less  sign of  overheating , Unlike the stock bmw air box, it`s a possible overheat,   can u advice this kind of situation,   BYE.

	Hello, are you saying that with the stock BMW airbox your car overheats and that with a cone filter it doesn't?

	doesn't sound right at all - the air intake has nothing to do really with the engine temp

	-if it runs lean with the std airbox (ought to be the other way round tho') and there is no lambda sensor and mixture correction then it might well run hotter with a lean mixture. -other than that thought, I'm just plain confused.... cheers
