The Ford Capri was brilliant for getting used to RWD cars and their vices..

Totoally enjoyable to drive, specially in wet weather..certainly split the men from the boys lol

Goldryder: had 2 sand bags (1 either side) in it to hold the ass end from going round all the time however i upgraded to cement on the 2.8i as the sand just couldn't hack it (split from g force :).

Did you put the required paving slabs in the boot, as advised by Ford?

I did, and it worked a treat

My scottish is pretty poor too which is a shame as its my first language but i'll translate, it roughly means:

"please sir would you be so kind as to not take this buckfast alcoholic wine from me that i am currently consuming". Only being in Glasgow it is said with absolutely no manners and often preceeds a barage of swear words or even the challenge of a "square-go" (stand up fight).

We scots are a civilised society!

Surely there must have been even a slight bit of burberry in the equation?

kenny, I worry about you and burberry you know... are you on a 'pay-per-mention' or something?

Certainly not! Id rather refer to burberry as 'ned tartain' it just that every single ned i see or worse, meet, seems to be wearing something burberry and more often than not a mera peak jacket. This is the case throughout the height of summer! Don't know if its just a scottish thing?

"gonnae no take ma buckie mister!"
