   Hi, does anybody have definitive proof of PRECISELY what date the E12 M535i began series production? Or where to look! Any ideas would be brill!!

	have a look in the book 'original BMW M series by James Taylor. April 1980 to May 1981, 1410 built, sold 408 in the UK Hope this is of use. AG
