M Tec Suspension

   I have an 1999 840 Ci Sport.  I understand this has the M-tec sports suspension.  I have managed to obtain an original sales brochure complete with options and price list and notice that the Electronic Damper Control 111 option is not available with M-Tec suspension.  My car has EDC.  Anyone tell me what differentiates the M-Tec suspension from the non M-Tec?  I've looked at the ETK Parts Manual and cannot find any different options for M-Tec suspension.  Is it just different shocks or is it more radical than that - mine holds the road like glue in Sports setting.
