Really depends on how much you want to spend, you can get new shocks and lowering springs from GSF Car parts or Eurocarparts for around £250 or a better quality Bilstein Kit for around £430 (the cheapest price i could find) from Motorsportworld

The suspension on the standard 525 and 525 Sport is different (front top mounts are different) but i am not sure about the 535 Sport ?

personaly i would go for eibach springs/bilstein shocks, cheap kits can be false economy and the set up on a e34 can be problamactic, what with shakes and shimmies ect most people in this club who have owned the E34 i think will agree with me.

I agree with b8alk, have tried to fit 535 springs on a 525 for a customer and they're totally different. if you're getting 535 sport in a couple of weeks, wouldn't it be better to save your money and then spend it on the 535? Ian. |

You'll find that there are (I believe) 3 different combinations of top mount - there's a difference in dust cap diameter and top nut diameter - and you have to get it right!! As Ian says, you're better off waiting 'till you've got the car you want before spending the bigger bucks. I'd get the 525 sellable, then spend your hard earned making the 535 special! |

what i was hoping to do was fit the kit on my 535 when i get it and then put the shocks from that car on to the 525 so as to sell it then as i only payed 400 quid for the 535 as i got it from a trade in as my mate works at the honda dealers(its an se not a sport as i first thought but its electric everything cruise electric seats air con the lot so that makes up for the fact its not a sport)!!!!!!! i will be able to chuck a sheld load of money at the 35 gonna need some mtec sport or my skirts spolier and bumpers for it i could take them of the 2.5 but it looks so damn sexy i figure it would be worth more money as it is nobody would happen to have any kickin about in their shed would they if not know of a decent supplier that dont cost the earth thanks in advance for the replys and for makin me feel so damn welcome |
