Had to have fuel pump replaced in the 840 today, found out its unique to the 840..not even the same as the 850.  Couldn't get the engine to fire...so did the very high tech test of hitting the fuel tank to get the fuel pump motor brushes to budge and it fired up.

Anyone else replaced their fuel pump yet?

been a long time. How many Miles now mate? What were you hitting the fuel tank with?!?!?!?

Hi Phil, Done 132000 km now, 7000 in last 3 months. Think pumping 520 litres in 11 days up in NT gave the pump a good workout. Hit the fuel tank with RACV guys spanner (Royal Auto Club Victoria).  Luckily there was a pump in the Vic warehouse otherwise off the road for 2 weeks!

I'm in a dilemma whether to spend money on Csi spolier Kit or another holiday.

Nice one... 520 litres... thats alot of petrol.
