Armor-all on leather?

   Was out cleaning the leather on my car today when my neighbour came over and told me that he always uses armor-all on his leather and has done so for years, hes got a e34 tourer and i must admit the leather looks like new,i always use armor-all on my door rubbers but thats all,but it does say on the bottle "for use on finished leather"  has anybody else tried this product on leather and if so what do you think
