Hi all,

Have just read about an E28 brake ugrade using E34 M5 brake calipers that will bolt straight on. Under parts needed it says about needing carriers. What are they? I happen to know where an E34 M5 is being broken and can source the parts needed. I know about the other parts required and has anyone had this upgrade done? Would like views and opinions about whether to have it done?

The "carriers" are the brackets that the caliper bolts to, which in turn are bolted to the hub assembly.

If you follow this link, carrier is being removed in the photo.
