I am looking to replace the metric alloys on my E28 528i, and have been advised by everyone to find some E34 cross spokes. I have located these, but it states that they are metric? Can anyone shed any light on this please? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category =28648&item=7920750375&rd=1 |

Some E34's came with metric wheels as standard, you need to find some 15" non-metric E34 basketweave or cross spoke alloys. Any non-metric wheels advertised as fitting the E28, E32 or E34 will be a direct fitment and wheels from a E39 will fit but need a centering/spigot ring.

Hi Chris, My 528i which you can see pictures of on the 5 series pictures topic, page 6, has 16" alessios on it with 225/50/16s on them. They may be coming up for sale soon, as I am hoping to upgrade to 17 or 18" wheels shortly. I must be spending to much time on the American forums . They all seem to call E30 M3 and E28 M5 wheels basketweaves . I was half close with basketweavers . |
