Coolant

   My E46 318ci is calling out for some coolant (the light is tending to remain illuminated after start up).
What coolant should I use?  My local shop had two different types - a blue and a red coolant of which the red is a special one and I was advised to check if this was actually required in the handbook.

Should I use BMW's own or does it matter and if not then red or blue?
Anyone thoughts?

	Check with BMW which one they approve (probably blue). More worryingly though is the fact that the light is staying on. check the water level immediately

	It's only coming on on start up and goes out shortly after. It's not on all of the time by any means. It will be sorted out first thing in the morning I will give BMW a call. Thanks Eamo. Graham
