how about an automatic warning sent via email that you've reached your pm limit? near your limit (say 20 out of 25) would be preferable
theres always a nagging doubt that you've missed something important cos someone cant pm you cos your inbox is full

I have done a small modification to the application for this. It doesn't send out an email but changes the private message link at the top to red when you can recieve less than 5 mnessages, i.e. you have recieved 20 out of 25 messages. Can people confirm that this is working as mine isn't that full at the moment?

My inbox is pretty empty at the moment but I'm willing to be the "crash test dummy" if you wish to send me a block of PM's to test it. Another 14 should do it.

why? it doesn't affect your ability to send or recieve messages. Have you something incriminbating you would like to get rid of?

the recipients of these messages obviously feel the need to keep them. The system is pretty much like your email account. You have your inbox which you can delete. However, if you sent a mail, you can't delete it off the recipients machine.

I have tweaked it a bit further now. When you are on 20+ Pms the words private messenger at the top appear instead of the usual black ones. When your inbox is full then it also says (inbox full).
